Day 7 - grumpy pants

Last night I hit my low.

When I got home from work last night I was starving and in a REALLY bad mood - I snapped at Dom and he snapped back.

I got angry with the poor guy just because he didn't know, from the top of his head, how many grams of protein was in the 100g of pork fillet we've had for dinner.

To tell you the truth I almost gave up everything. Seriously thought of quitting but Dom said you're doing so well and maybe change my allowed portion of protein and fat a day? Baff.

This diet is seriously taking the best of me.

To add to this, woke up with a bad stomach ache. Had a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and on my way to work I felt slightly better.

So far I've had the usual for breakfast except that I had raspberries instead of blueberries.

Day 6 - not so bad

Woke feeling way better than my previous mornings. Maybe because I didn't need to get up so early?

I was speak to Dom last night and telling him how difficult this keto diet has become.
I'd low energy, tiredness and was a bit grumpy when I got home from work last night.
Dom tells me that its normal in the first week and I should be full of energy in the next couple of days. We will see...

I don't know if it's meant to be but everyone I sit next to on the train, either is eating what I crave the most or is talking about food. Oh man! STOP

On my way to work now and running a bit late. I need to change this behaviour: lastminute.com attitude.

I brought my lunch with me and have already counted most of my food for the day.

For breakfast I've had:
2 eggs
2 bacon rashers
100g greek yogurt
80g blueberries
Black coffee with single cream

Lunch will be what was left over from dinner last night:
125g of turkey
100g of cooked greens
30g mayonaise
4 sticks of celery
20g of pine nuts
1 bluebell cheese

Dinner is still far away but will probably have 100g of pork and more greens. Yay!

I must say though, Keto diet REALLY works. I'm REALLY impressed.
But you got to have a lot of willpower to not give up when you are feeling your most weak.

Hard work pays off.

Day 5 - hungry

Today woke up super hungry... even more than yesterday. I added to my breakfast 100g of greek yogurt and 80g of blueberries. So delicious. It's crazy how you start appreciating food more than ever.

So far I have eaten most of my daily allowed protein take, which is 90g a day, and is not even dinner time...

It's getting harder and harder. I salivate by only looking at fruits and chocolate.

There is a girl next to me having a bar of snickers.

Note: my long time favourite chocolate bar.

Not fun.

Day 4 - it's getting harder

It's not easy

Another difficult day on the carbs department.

Seeing people eating fruits and chocolate are killing me. I'm not missing bread or pasta though - which is good. But I do miss fruits - a LOT.

The worse time today was lunch at work. They only had carbs. A ham pie was the main course. So basically I ate the leafy salad and few pieces of ham I could take away from the delicious pie, and that was it.

Not easy. Started to wonder if I can do it for a whole month...

Day 3 - delay

Phew!

Woke up super early (6.30am) and super super hungry! Thought gosh its only the third day. Ai!

Had to drop the dog at the day care - poor thing can't stay by herself for too long - because me and future hubby were working all day.

An hour later had to go to my driving lesson THEN go to work on the other side of the town. Meh

It was suppose to be an easy day and man oh man! That certainly wasn't....

After being on my feet - for 6 hours straight - with a super high heel and 3 sizes bigger than mine, I could feel my toes again.

Goodbye to clients. Freezing at the bus stop but with still a last thing to do.

Go to the HOUSE to feel renovated! Yes Lord!
Telling you if was for my body I would have taken the train back home. I was exausted.

But God is good and as soon as I stepped through the door all the tiredness went away and I felt revigorate almost instantly to do what I was asked to.

To do a very basic interview with a 15 year old teenage girl called Bruna, who has been in London for only a month. She has been touched by the Holy Spirit so much that her most desire right now, is to be the epicentre of God's will. Oh what a great honour. Youth thirsty for God's ways inspires me. Give me a kind of boost.

I will be posting the interview soon.

Take care for now...

Ah! Diet yes, so I was basically hungry the whole day but because I didn't stop at alI, kind of forgot I had to eat.

I've had the same for breakfast plus belagio cheese and 50g almonds. Lunch was 2 cumberland sausages and dinner will be 100g pork and kale. Can't wait.
